The issue opens up with Tarrus One-Eyed telling the Adventurers that they’re doomed, just as Haka and his agents were. He demands that the Key be handed over – and much to the surprise of the Adventurers, Nightwind stands up and begins walking towards Tarrus One-Eyed. Once Nightwind hands over the final Key, he mocks Nightwind for her loyalty and demands that she take her own life.

Before she can complete the final task of taking her life, the mountain side explodes suddenly; and standing there, in burning shambles is none other than Sultar. The chaos is the chance that the Adventurers need to take advantage of the situation. The Imp tells Tarrus One-Eyed that fleeing and opening the Gate of Chaos is what truly important; so he summons a dragon-like creature to pull him out of battle and return him to the City of Liam.

Nightwind continued to fight against the soldiers of Tarrus One-Eyed, realizing now she never needed to serve someone to find her place – her places was among the friends and comrades who had trusted her, just as she had trusted them. With the tide of the battled turned, Nightwind sheds her mask, as well as her past, and adopts the name Delia. Delia informs Coron that the fifth key that his allies, at the Temple of Baal, guard is a fake. While Coron refuses to believe it at first, Delia explains how the switch was made. Coron walks off to commune to his God, Accuris, so that they might find a way to catch up to Tarrus One-Eyed and stop him from opening the Chaos Gate.

Accuris grants Coron and his companions access to what is called The Grey Road; a road between heaven and hell, living and dead; sane and insane. Using one of their prisoners, Coron slits his throat and commands the others to spread the prisoner’s blood all over them. The things they see vary from beautiful to horrid; soothing to painful; but it eventually leads them to The City of Liam.

Once there, Sultar urges the others to go one while he takes care of the approaching army. The others fight their way through the city while Sultar uses his flame to create walls that burn agents alive.

The Adventurers arrive just as Tarrus One-Eyed smiles and says, “It’s over.” As he holds a dagger over the woman who is to be sacrificed…
