The issue begins with Erikor in the City of Pandona, having spent several weeks trying to get an audience with their Council in order to plead with them to gain assistance for Liam’s defense against Baal.

As Erikor pleads his case, he barely gets out a few words – before one of them asks for the Council’s opinion. Immediately none of them agree with what Erikor to be saying as any form of truth, for none can claim that they have heard any siege against Liam.

The scene shifts to show just that – the proud City of Liam standing relentlessly against the never ending onslaught brought on by Baal’s soldiers. Still Liam fights – their army “led” by none other than Shadolok. With a blow of the horn Shadolok unleashes their most powerful weapon – Sultar. With flames burning from his hands, Sultar burns all who seek to scale Liam’s walls, or those who have gotten to close!

Elsewhere, Coron forces from Ur continue their march, slowed by the snowfall. As they wait, the Raven of Sheol arrives and goes directly to Coron sharing images that it has seen in the City of Liam, and the army that surrounds it. Coron is pleased to see that Belgur hasn’t toppled Liam yet.

The scene comes back to the City of Liam where Nightwind approaches Shadolok asking what is wrong. Shadolok approaches the oncoming storm in the distance and wonders if it symbolizes something far more sinister than a simple storm.

The scene shifts to the storm’s approach, and we see Coron the Forces of Ur marching at the front of the storm, bringing with them freezing rains. The storm breaks over the city of Liam. Belgur calls for the next wave of the attack.

Within the walls, Barak makes his way to Shadolok once more. The two engage in combat, seemingly evenly matched yet again. Shadolok finally gets the upper hand and knocks Barak down. With his sword ready to be shoved between Barak’s ribs, he suddenly finds himself struck from the back by Sheralya. Nightwind seeing this launches a volley of arrows right through Sheralya.

At that moment, another army approaches – the Forces of Ur.
