Accomplished.

Ah, it’s a good feeling. So first, after lounging around a bit, Aim finally got up and we put our bikes on the back of the XTERRA and brought the bikes down to a gas station to put air in their tires. Then we drove over to Fiesta Island in Mission Bay, and brought Odin with us to try something out. Normally we walk around Fiesta Island with Odin and let him play with dogs – but sometimes, there’s no dogs, or the dogs that are there, simply aren’t in the mood to play with a hyped Husky/Australian Sheppard mix by the name of Odin. So this time, we brought our bikes and round around Fiesta Island (the caged portion), first with him off leash so he could run and follow us – and get used to the idea of us on bikes. Then we leashed him and held the leash (this is our goal to get him used to us on bikes so we can ride around Coronado or something) – and he did excellent! By the time we were done, he was tuckered out, and I felt like I got some good excerise in for myself!

Then after a quick shower (ladies, calm your hearts, I know that idea simply excites you!) – Adam came over and we laid down the work and managed to complete the Audio Commentary for the Season Two Neverending Nights DVD – and it seems like it came out pretty good! There’s a lot of random talking in there with Adam and I – but I think that’s some of the best stuff – because it’s letting you really get to know and hear us as we naturally are (rather than the scripted lines we read for Neverending Nights). If you’re interested in the Neverending Nights Season 2 DVD, please check out our “How To Sponsor” page – if you sponsor 20 dollars, you get the DVD for free. (You also, if you sign up on the forum, usually get the episodes one week before the general release to the public – unless we’re lagging very far behind, then it’s always a public release!). If you’d like to see some of the videos, please visit our Video Page which has all the episodes available for free, as a download or you can visit our Neverending Nights Youtube Channel (feel free to subscribe!) where we have a Playlist for Season 1 and Season 2 all for your ease of viewing. If you have watched it, and are curious about who does what for voices, we have a casting page you can always check out. If you’re really hardcore (or that bored) and want to learn more about the characters, we even made Character Profiles. You can also visit us on our myspace page (go on, send us a friend request!). And if you like our music, check out Travis “Snafe” Richards‘ home page – and we also recently recruited my nephew’s band who has allowed us to use their music, and their band is called Tarnished.

And it’s only 5:30pm. I have the rest of the night to relax, because the wife has been out shopping for who knows how many hours now. So it’s me, three cats and a dog…

More Promotion About PirateBooty.net.

Hello Pirate Lovers! Be sure to stop by the PirateBooty.net Store and look through some of the shirts and things we have available! We’re considering branching out into things that just aren’t pirate specific (but still dirty/double meaning/sexually suggestive). So we may have some new merchandise in the stores soon!

In the mean time, take a look at some of these classics that are waiting for you to purchase them:

For the Ladies:

FRONT:

BACK:

Some of the ladies complained that they didn’t want a HUGE pirate skull on their chest (though most didn’t mind it if there was a pirate on their chest… if you know what I mean). At any rate, we listened and developed new shirts for the ladies that bare a smaller logo… Here’s some examples:

FOR THE MEN:

And these are by no means all of the shirts available! There’s plenty more! There’s some for men, women, pregnant women, and whatever else you can put a shirt on! So come by the PirateBooty.net Store and pick something out for yourself or a fellow pirate lover!

A Little Self Promoting.

I love promoting others and the things they do in life – but here’s a piece of Self Promotion. If you’re a fan of Pirates and you’re a fan of double meanings (the double meaning, usually being dirty/sexual in nature) – one of my projects is just dying to be visited by you!

When Things Look Tarnished.

Apparently, my lack of sleep means that I have a lot to ramble about. So this time, I want to help promote my incredibly talented nephew, who is in a band called Tarnished, where he is responsible for lead vocals and guitar shredding. If you have a MySpace page, please stop by the Tarnished MySpace and send them a friend request – and check out the tunes they have available on their page to listen to. Indian Giver is, for example, a great song. A mixture of Creed and Shinedown is what it – and they – remind me of.

They also happen to be playing a live show tomorrow (well officially, tonight, since it is past Midnight on Friday).

The Mountain King.

So, without a doubt, one of the people who inspired me in life (and perhaps showed me what it’s like to be insane) was Jon Oliva. Most would be like, “Whose Jon Oliva?” And that’s a fair question, because sadly, most don’t know who he is – though, you have probably heard some of his music (even if he wasn’t singing it – he probably wrote a piece you heard before, and never even knew). Jon, along with his brother, Criss formed the band Savatage. I know, I know – most of you are thinking, “Yeah, that doesn’t help any.” Well, after the tragic loss of my musical inspiration, Criss Oliva, the band Savatage would eventually morph into the more popular Trans Siberian Orchestra that most people – of ALL ages know.

Jon Oliva would go on to form Jon Oliva’s Pain and have so far produced three amazing CDs.

Anyway, the folks at TheRightToRock.com did an interview/podcast with Jon Oliva – where they talked about Jon’s new band, as well as the state of Savatage and TSO. It’s a great listen – whether or not you’re a fan. This interview shows how down to earth Jon is. The dude’s amazing. Anyway, you can download the pod cast off the site here (I uploaded it here, because it seems to be faster than the folks at TheRightToRock.com who may be suffering bandwidth!) – so take a listen (Right Click, Save As…)

As I had mentioned in this post, Criss Oliva was a huge inspiration musically – the guy was a god to me when it came to music. If you read the Wiki link I posted for him – you can see he passed quite some time ago. But I still try to do little things to always keep his memory alive (not just for me, but for others). Here’s two examples…

A Criss Oliva Memorial Video #1 – This one has a bunch of pictures of Criss Oliva, from childhood up to adulthood. It’s got all kinds of his music cut into the video, and is nearly 10 minutes long.

Criss Oliva Memorial Video #2 – This one I took a bunch of different Savatage videos and cut them all together to make a memorial for Criss. I wish I could have done a better job with the lip synching – but considering the songs Jon is singing in the videos are not the song I used for the memorial video – it was difficult. But still a challenge I enjoyed, and found myself satisfied with the end result.

Hope you enjoyed.

The Mind Of Madness.

I have never once, really, considered myself sane. Not even remotely so. My view of reality and the way I deal with things is probably not normal. And while the entire world seems to be blogging their thoughts – whether on their own sites of things like MySpace.com or Facebook (or whatever the newest, coolest, trend might be these days!) – I never did much of it.

If you ever expect anything too serious out of me – to be found here – stop looking/reading now. You’re not going to find it. This is just my corner of the web to ramble about non important things in life – so you won’t find me discussing who our next United States President should be and why – I am not going to be finding a cure for World Hunger, or the political status of the government in Iraq and why we have American Soldiers there.

No, this will be random things. Probably things I enjoy. And when I can, or when I remember, I will try to link it to my forum to discuss on there, if there’s anything worth discussing.
