Both myself, and my good friend, Maico Moreno are avid fans of the Star Wars Universe. While we do a comic book podcast (called The Comic Relief Podcast) together, one day while battling another fit of insomnia; I was going down the rabbit hole on the internet, and landed back on the Star Wars Soundboard page. As I was tinkering around with the soundboard (just waiting for notion of sleep to return to me), I started thinking how I could use these sounds to make a radio play based on Star Wars.

That pretty much ensured that I was going to get no sleep. Because now my brain was scrambling with ideas; and within moments, had the idea of two would be smugglers, who weren’t the best at what they do – getting themselves in repeated trouble, and somehow finding their way out of these dangerous situations.

It wasn’t long before the story began to write itself. I’ve never done a Radio Play before; so this is a new adventure for me. I’ve done something similar with a machinima series I wrote and edited called Neverending Nights. But that at least had a visual, so that the viewers could easily follow. This – this radio play – was going to be a new adventure. Something new to creatively try out.
