Adam is seen as a part of Mojo World, where he’s been identified as one of the top five streams on Mojo World with his show Adam X’s Hot Seat, where different mutants are nominated to potentially be killed. In the episode seen in the issue, the mutant formerly known as Wind Dancer, who had been depowered; then later joined the New Warriors as Renascence – is in a glass room. Adam offers her a way out – explains that he can try to help her escape – even get someone else in there and that the viewers would never know it’s her – but Wind Dancer explains that this is the only way – and so she is shot and killed.
She is however, resurrected on Krakora (where the mutants have taken sanctuary and learned to resurrect deceased mutants) – and it is there, that she explains: Spiral, Adam X and Shatterstar all tried to help her escape other ways; but Mojo keeps a tight leash on the top five streamers; and that Spiral, Adam and Shatterstar are still trapped there and need to be rescued. Polaris agrees, but she’s not sure how to do it since X-Factor has been banned from entering Mojo World.
