Eyamma

Known Relatives: Father (Noble), Mother (Tracker)
Place of Birth: Kedesh
First Appearance: Adventurers Book II #1
History: Eyamma K’ril hails from the exotic free-city of Kedesh. His father was a nobleman, and his mother was a tracker and trainer of exotic animals. Although Eyamma was raised in the courts of Kedesh, he quickly came to prefer the rugged lifestyle of his mother. During his youth, Eyamma journeyed with his mother through many remote areas of Southern Anoria, including the Angora Jungle.

From his mother Eyamma learned kinship with nature, and the secret ways of the forests, deserts, and jungles. Like his mother, Eyamma seemed to have a natural affinity for animals, and could easily train them and control them.

At age twelve Eyamma’s mother died tragically in an accident, and Eyamma remained with his father in the courts of Kedesh. By the time he was fourteen, Eyamma had received an education beyond that of most Anorians, but he had become thoroughly bored with the pampered lifestyle of a young nobleman.

At age fifteen he left home and became a freebooter in the infamous Kedesh navy. Here he received a very different sort of education. He learned of hardship, pain, and endurance in the face of all obstacles. He also learned seamanship, trade, and navigation, and quickly rose through the ranks. By twenty he was captain on General Urav’s flagship, Wind of the Dragon.

Eyamma’s skills came to the attention of Kedesh’s King Hruz, who chose Eyamma to help the expedition of General Barak pf Baali pass through the treacherous Angora Jungle. This is one of the many concessions that Kedesh has given King Belgur of Baali in return for a peace treaty. Eyamma has great contempt for the strong-arm tactics of Baal worshippers, and is not pleased to be forced to assist men who have no reverence for the jungle or nature.
