• After a rest, the party made their way up the mountain path where they found themselves attacked by Su-Monsters; vicious, chaotic (evil) monkey like creatures that attacked the party. Argo and Bodrag dispatched two, while Luna snared the other two. The party quickly made their way up to the top, where Tenjii had spotted smoke. Tenjii, using her ring of invisibility, and Ariana and Luna, both using their cloaks of elvenkind snuck up the mountain and saw that it was Alark Bloodhorn and a few of his men, who survived the wreckage.
• The party tried to attack, bu Alark was able to break free of Luna’s attempt to snare him. He charged the party and a battle ensued. After wounding Alark, he made a truce with the party, promising them safe passage to the Ivory Coast. The party agreed and boarded the ship that had come to rescue him; after he revealed that they were not on an island at all, but a Zartan – which is a giant turtle that slumbers for a hundred years, awakes for a few, then returns to slumber again; on it’s back collecting all kinds of mass and wild life.
• The party arrives at the Ivory Coast, where Bodrag remains close to Alark; while Tenjii meets some gnomes and buys a few contraptions from them. Luna sends River, her bird out, who is summoned by another druid, begging for help. River returns with the message and the party meets a pale, seemingly dying druid, by the name of Aurora. She explains that the Mother Tree is dying and that the other druids were too weak to escape, having tried to save the Mother Tree.
• The party travels into the forest, and Luna immediately begins to feel ill, knowing that something is wrong with the forest. At the base of the tree, Bodrag finds a passage that leads beneath the massive tree.
• Exploring the cavern, they find forty druids strapped to the walls by the roots of the tree; all of the druids looking similar to Aurora, but in far worse condition. The party rescues them and Tenjii uses her ring of telekenesis to carry the first twenty to the exit, followed by Luna; but they are immediately attacked by three ravenous goblin like creatures. With great speed and deadly accuracy, the tear into Tenjii injecting her with poison. Luna calls for help and the rest of the party rushes in and fights; when Tenjii kills one, it explodes spraying black liquid all over her (rather than blood). When the other two are defeated, they explode black liquid all over Bodrag, who had also been hit and poisoned.
• The party finished getting the other druids out of the cavern, and camped beneath the tree, setting up guard.
