After reporting what had happened at Spire’s Edge, the party returned to Ridgecrest where they learned that Brolimir’s guild of druids could not undo the foul magic that had tampered with Brolimir’s ability to cast magic. The party gathered and continued to the Tower of Westbrook, as Marlove Mageblood had suggested.

The party arrived to the tower, which as Marlove Mageblood had stated, showed signs of having recently exploded. Urthez looked around the hillside, where he found several dead bodies; two males, one female; all of them bore the same wound of a puncture wound that had swollen up and showed signs of puss and poison. The party eventually moved inside, where they found most of the lower level of the tower (the only remaining portion of the tower) about to crumble. The party found signs of black magic, fought a demonic statue that appeared to come to life. Throughout the ruined tower, they found three keys that eventually unlocked three magical doors. With the three doors opened, the spirit of the slain wizard, Boris Den, who once ruled this tower. He presented the party with three choices; but they could only select one, or else grave consequences would come from their greed.

Choose… 1.) A Book To Restore What Has Been Forgotten…. 2.) An Orb To See That Which Is Hidden… 3.) A Sword To Slay A Demon Lord…

The party chose the book to restore Brolimir’s magic. With the choice made, Boris’ Imp appeared and attacked the party, furious that his master’s spirit was still able to do good. With the Imp slain the party discovered that Boris Den had fallen in love with Airey Moonstone. Boris, though had spent a life time of committing evil, had found redemption in Airey Moonstone. The Imp, already neglected by Boris when initially assigned to the Wizard (Boris believed, back when he was evil, he deserved a greater minion than a simple Imp), was furious when his Master turned away from evil entirely, and sought to redeem himself.

The party returned to Marlove Mageblood who was able to use Boris Den’s book to translate the scroll and reverse the Spell of Forgetfulness.
