The Giff are a humanoid Hippo race from one of the floating islands of the Astral Plane known as Suhaeruh. The only problem is – while all of them know they come from Suhaeruh – none have actually been born there in centuries and the exact location of Suhaeruh has long since been lost to “Astral Sea” traveling Giff – but all of them are born with that name as their home land as soon as they are born, including powerful visuals of what it looks like. Each of them believes that it is because it is their destinies to one day rediscover the location of their home world.

Note – Because there are no hand held guns, only cannons on ships, the Fire Arms mastery is translated to essentially getting the Crossbow Expert Feat for free.
