• The two Driders have climbed over the small cave in and see Nor’Orn and hear Doomsilk barking commands in Undercommon and begin firing their arrows at him, blooding him in their first wave of attacks (one of them – the one that looks a little different than the other – landed a Natural 20!)
  
  

• Morsus notices that the Drider who had landed the Critical Strike against Nor’Orn – her bow seems to be firing “beams of light” rather than actual arrows
• Morsus yells to Nor’Orn to tell him to take the Dodge Action
• Don steps away from the Driders and fires an arrow at the Drider with the magical bow
• Korra also fires her bow, striking the Drider with the magical bow
• Morsus’ spiritual guardians lash out at the Driders at the beginning of their turn, inflicting some damage
• The Driders cast Faerie Fire which successfully lands on Ragnaroc, but Don Kannin is able to avoid it
• The Driders then take advantage and begin pummeling the tranced Ragnaroc
• Morsus attempts to Toll the Dead but they save (Natural 20!)
• Don then fires some arrows at the Driders, hitting them
• Adrian, for his bonus action, tells Nor’Orn to begin preparing the Faerie Fire potion
• Sephrenia casts a Heal on Nor’Orn restoring some of his health
• Morsus runs up to the Driders, casting Spiritual Guardians
• The Driders attempt to endure the Spiritual Guardians and continue their attack on the glowing Ragnaroc
• Sephrenia does Mass Heal which restores some health to her party members
• Ragnaroc snaps out of the trance (Player logged into the game! Hooray!)
• He launches several bolts of Eldritch Blast striking one of the Driders
• The one with the magic bow – now appears bloodied
• Morsus launches his Spiritual Hammer against it – landing a Critical Strike (Natural 20!)
• He follows up with Toll the Dead which does a little more damage
• Korra then fires her crossbow at the Drider with the magic bow and also lands a Critical Strike (Natural 20!) with Sneak Damage – but the Drider is still standing!
• Sephrenia tries to hit them with Guiding Bolt which they’re able to avoid; and the one with the magic bow even manages to avoid her Spiritual Hammer
• The Driders focus their attack on Ragnaroc who is still glowing from Faerie Fire and manage to take him down – sending Ragnaroc crumbling to the floor like a puppet whose strings have been cut
• However, before going down Ragnaroc is able to do a Hellish Rebuke as a reaction
• Morsus casts Spare the Dying on Ragnaroc
• Then proceeds to use his bonus action to attack with his Spiritual Hammer, but misses!
• Don fires a shot with his bow – hitting the Drider with the magical bow – killing her!
• Adrian rushes up and attacks the other one – expending a Divine Smite which bloodies it!
• Sephrenia rushes to Ragnaroc’s side and uses a Cure Light Wounds spell, restoring twelve health to the fallen Warlock
• She also attempts to use her spiritual weapon, it however, misses the driders
• The Driders attempt to take down Morsus since he’s keeping his damaging spell on them; and one manages to hit; but Morsus’ spell delivers more damage
• Ragnaroc quickly quaffs a potion to regain more health
• Ragnaroc manages to launch two Eldritch Blasts – both of which strike the Drider
• Don loads an arrow and nearly misfires it – but recovers just in time (Critical Fail, but re-rolled with Inspiration resulting in a hit against the Drider!)
• Don barks a command for Jackson to attack – but the large honey badger is unable to penetrate the Drider’s hide
• Nor’Orn, meanwhile on Glider, throws down the Faerie Fire potion on Doomsilk, who is not quick enough to get out of the way (fails Dexterity Save)
• Adrian swaps out his weapon – choosing to wield Demonbane
• Sephrenia launches a Guiding Bolt striking for some heavy damage on Doomsilk, then begins moving her Spiritual Hammer towards him
• Doomsilk tries to Witchbolt Nor’Orn but Glider distracts him causing Doomsilk to misfire, striking himself (Critical Fail)
• Ragnaroc unleashes two Eldritch Blasts, hitting both times
• Morsus – all the way at the other side of the cave (120′ away) – because moving towards Doomsilk – but does cast Scorching Ray which manages to hit Doomsilk several times
• Don drops his bow and runs by and picks up the “energy bow” and fires it (but does not get any advantages of the magic since he’s not attuned to it) – and uses Sharpshooter to deliver some hard hitting damage
• Korra drops her crossbow and switches to her shortbow and fires at Doomsilk and hits
• Nor’Orn pulls off his short bow from his shoulder and fires at Doomsilk, hitting him for some minor damage
• Adrian dashes to get next to Doomsilk
• Sephrenia hits Doomsilk with another blast of Guiding Bolt doing some incredible damage
• Doomsilk tries to Witchfire Adrian, but fails to do so
• Ragnaroc launches on Eldritch blast hitting Doomsilk – when Doomsilk sees him charging for another he puts himself on the other side of Adrian so it strikes Adrian instead (Critical Fail on the second bolt)
• Mrosus begins dashing towards Doomsilk
• Don hits Doomsilk with a sharpshooter attack, and hits with a normal shot
• Korra then fires from her shortbow – striking Doomsilk in the throat
• Doomsilk grabs his throat, mutters, “Burn in Garengrand!” And Adrian watches as Doomsilk presses a button – setting off a chain of explosions in his laboratory – where various potions explode sending shards of glass and mixing lethal combinations – creating a lethal gas!
• Several party members get caught in the explosion – suffering some damage – as Doomsilk tumbles backwards into the the passage behind him that leads to the river waters he’d been poisoning and collapses, dead – his body washed away by the river
• Nor’Orn points out the table he needs make the counter poison; Sephrenia tries to use Ray of Frost, but the flames are too much
• Korra, being an Air Genasi, uses her racial trait to hold her breath to prevent breathing in the poison
• As the party continues to try to put out the fires impacting the table, many of them begin taking extensive damage from the toxic poison in the air
• With Korra’s help, they’re able to put out the fire on the table
• Everyone is suffering
• Nor’Orn quickly lands and begins making the chemical to cleanse the water and reverse what Doomsilk’s done – and manages to do so – between coughing fits due to the air in the room becoming toxic from the chemicals that have mixed and spread through smoke and fire in the room
• He explains it should take about a day for the water to be safe to drink, since the counteracting toxins in the water need time to spread through the body of water – but that the anti-toxin is aggressive in how it attacks the poisoned water
• The party decides – the best exit is through the same hole that Doomsilk fell through, and that Nor’Orn poured the anti-poison
• Everyone picks up their dropped weapons and makes it for the hole
• Ragnaroc and Don need to bolt through the room to try and get to the hole in the wall – and both suffering inhaling the toxic air – damaging them significantly – by the time they reach the hole
• Everyone leaps through the hole – and goes down the rapid river – down a waterfall – and eventually washes ashore on a large beach where there is a large lake that the river dumps into
• Down here there is literally no light – it’s complete darkness, not even illuminated mushrooms resides down here
• Sephrenia uses her channel divinity to spread some healing; but those that are bloodied still have some major wounds
• The party heaves a deep sigh and collapses on the beach…
