Ramsey was a human who had been studying with the Gray Order located in the Seven Kingdoms of Utsukkuen. Located on the large island of Sensji, when the “White Light Event” happened – and the world was suddenly awakened with new found knowledge, power and magic – something else happened to Ramsey.

Not only had his mind filled with this magic, but something touched his soul – something connected to the release of that magic. Something dark hidden in the purity of that white light. Ramsey began to study where this “White Light Event” had centered from and eventually learned from some writings from a Sensei named Shujin Gorudo that it had come from a new continent that had recently been discovered. When Ramsey looked into Shujin Gorudo, he learned that he had traveled to this new continent to examine some of the things he’d been hearing about a large Hobgoblin force – the ancient enemies of the people of the Seven Kingdoms of Utsukkuen.

Ramsey determined that the best way to get the answers he sought was to head for this new continent as well. He booked passage from one of the books in Sensji to Moontide Port, located on the main continent of Tawaim. From there, Ramsey booked passage aboard the Alpha Dawn.
