Gailon was born in a small town called Silvervale. At a young age of twelve, he lost his parents to a group of marauders, devoted to the return of the Chromatic Dragons. With no other family, he was forced to grow up quickly and survive on his own. With no means to pay for the petty home his parents had spent their life paying for, Gailon was soon forced to leave his home, since he could not continue paying for it – no one would hire him to work, other than small trivial jobs, because of his age.

He learned to live and adapt by hunting and scavenging in the woods just outside of Silvervale. As travelers came and went to and from Silvervale, he offered his advice, and took those opportunities to lighten the pocket of several merchants.

Three years later, at the age of fifteen an old ranger by the name of Varis caught him stealing. Despite being caught, Varis was impressed with Gailons skill for such a young age that he wanted to see more. He let the young boy go, but followed the him outside of Silvervale and to his well hidden home in an old hollow tree. Varis confronted Gailon and decided to take him under his wing.

For six years Gailon lived and trained with Varis to be a ranger. By the age of twenty-one, Gailon had become a well skilled ranger – but Varis warned that there was still much to learn. But Gailon was impetuous – with the skills that he had already learned, he felt he could use these new skills to help people and maybe one day figure out what happened to his parents.

Gailon decided to part from his master that had become a father figure to him, so he can follow the path of a hero.

His first act as a new hero was saving Freya Newmoon from a band of marauders who had attacked her village. These men wore emblems that resembled the same ones he remembered as an infant – the same ones that the men wore that murdered his parents and left him alive, sobbing as an infant, on the side of the rode, sitting in a pool of blood from his parents. He fought, not only to save Freya, but to extract revenge on this cult of dragon followers. Freya would eventually be overwhelmed and abducted by the cult and taken to Silvercrown Castle, where Gailon followed – planning to rescue her and continue his revenge against this cult.
