Deities of the Gold Coast (Ilyx)

Gha’als Shaum – The Sun God
Greater Deity
Domain: Life (Primary), Light, Nature, Knowledge, Sun
Alias: The Giver And Taker, The Ever Eye
Plane: Aftgrand, The High Plane.
Alignment: Lawful Good
Worshipers: Fighters, Paladins
Symbol: Rising Sun over the horizon; three rays of light (lines) around the sun

It is interesting to note that the symbol of Gha’als Shaum is exactly the same as the symbol of Florasena; however, where she is seen as the mother of the gods, Gha’als is seen as the father of the gods.

Gha’als is seen as a ruthless god, who, unlike Florasena; passes judgement quickly with his ever seeing eye. The story of the sun’s rotation around the world is said to be Gha’als’ eye scanning for evil doers to punish.

Stories say that he has the body of a man, but the head of a hawk.

Mutal’fen Allmar – The Death God
Greater Deity

Alias: The Silent Eye
Plane: Aftgrand, The High Plane.
Alignment: Lawful Good
Worshipers: Clerics, Monks
Symbol: Three ravens (two side by side, one between them/behind them)

Mutal’fen has the same symbol as Dedinsyn, the God of Death commonly known outside the Gold Coast. The story is that Mutal’fen is the shadow of Gha’als – and that is why his eye – the twin moons – are ever behind the ruthless, judging eyes of his brother – seeking out those his brother has punished with death.

Stories say he has the body of a man, but the head of a black fox.

Saniel Alltiff – Goddess of Mothers, Vengeance, Sexuality
Greater Deity
Domain: Love (Primary), Vengeance, Nature
Alias: Mistress of Vengeance
Plane: Aftgrand, The High Plane.
Alignment: Neutral Good
Worshipers: Rogues, Clerics, Mothers
Symbol: A Shadowed figure against the wall, with only eyes showing

Saniel bares the same symbol of Furdina, goddess of stealth. She is said to be called upon wives seeking to become pregnant, and pregnant mothers seeking influential children. She is also called upon, by women seeking vengeance against any that have wronged them. She is also associated with her sexuality, which many believe comes from her feline like nature.

Stories say she has the body of a woman, but the head of a white tiger.
