The Hadozee are a humanoid monkey like race whose origins remain unknown. Some believe that the Hadozee were experimented on by a famous Astral Plane traveling wizard by the name of Yazirian, but Yazirian’s Spelljammer “The Wizard’s Way” was discovered on the same forested island that the Hadozee were found on – but Yazirian’s fate remains unknown, as his Spelljammer was completely abandoned and appeared to have been there for centuries with the vegetation having reclaimed it. The Hadozee were welcomed by other Spelljammers and soon became well known throughout the Astral Plane.

Hadozee were first known for working on spelljammers and their excellent ability to quickly repair them (most of them having studied The Wizard’s Way). Over time, as they interacted with people they began to learn spells and songs and stories.

In addition to being natural climbers, hadozees have feet that are as dexterous as their hands, even to the extent of having opposable thumbs. Membranes of skin hang loosely from their arms and legs. When stretched taut, these membranes enable hadozees to glide. Hadozees wrap these wings around themselves to keep warm.
