Time Line of the Gods:
- Florasena calls on Nifika to make The Three Planes
- Aftgrand – The High Plane. This is the Plane, from which most of the good aligned gods dwell, along with hundreds of Immortals (also known as Titans – essentially gods without sphere of power). Aftgrand is said to be a Plane, whose beauty, mortal words could never describe. Beings called “Immortals” are created to tend to the needs of the gods; they are celestial beings indentured to the gods, having perfect physical and mental states.
- Brengrand – The Middle Plane. This is often times called “The Material Plane” as many believe that Brengrand is actually a reference to the world of Kne’Urth itself.
- Garengrand – The Fallen Plane. The Fallen Plane is said to be a place of desolate landscapes, and void of life, as it is also void of hope. It is said to be this way because this is where the “evil” aligned deities & demigods dwell; and their inability to work with one another or trust one another, has waged so much war, that there is nothing left.
- Florasena asks Jarisfargen to forge a world in Brengard and Kne’Urth is forged
- Thyamat follows Florasena and tries to steal the world away from Florasena
- The ensuing battle results in Florasena being gravely wounded
- Florasena’s blood on Thyamat’s scales gives birth to the Chromatic Dragons
- The Chromatic Dragons unleash destruction on the newly forged world
- In order to save the world, Florasena asks Jarisfargen to create dragons
- Using Florasena’s blood, he forges Metallic Dragons to try and bring balance to the world
- The world was dark where demons reigned chaos on the world
- Jarisfargen took a strand of Nifika’s hair and slammed his enchanted hammer upon it, and a spark from her golden hair created the sun
- Florasena grabbed some of the sparks and forged the souls of Angels, which she used to wage war against the demons
- From those sparks, some landed upon Kne’Urth and created Elves, who were blessed with immortality
- Jarisfargen continued to forge and shape the world, and in the process made Dwarves, who like the Elves were blessed with long lives
- With such long lives, Florasena found that the Elves and Dwarves did little to progress themselves forward, blessed with so much time, they frequently took their time doing everything
- Florasena took a drop of her own blood and created Dedinsyn, the God of Death
- She touched the lives of Elves and Dwarves and removed their immortality, and instead gave them long lives; but found that they still moved about life slowly
- She then created Humans, with the help of Dedinsyn, and found that humans were quick to do things and evolved quickly
- Furdina was created by Grumthak and Skortaurian, which gave birth to HalfMen on the world
- Grumthak, furious, cut his palm and let his blood rain down upon the world
- Those with evil in their hearts found themselves corrupted and changed, giving birth to Orcs
- Nifika was so furious that Grumthak created such evil and destruction that she tried to kill him with an arrow to his eye, giving birth to the racial hatred between Elves and Orcs (as well as other dire consequences, such as the creation of the vile Beholders, as a consequence of Grumthak’s blood falling to the world)
- With the rise of Orcs, Sarenthar took it upon himself to corrupt existing animals that had recently been populated; creating Bugbears from cave bears, to terrorize the Dwarven and HalfMen community. He took to Skortaurian’s help to strip wolves of their flesh, and twist them with venom and disease, and an unnatural healing ability, creating the first trolls, who are savages who have only two thoughts: Kill and Consume.
- Nifika’s twin sister, Lakrona, is caught using Dark Arts and is cast down to Garengrand with the other Gods of Shade.
- With the Circle of Light trying to save Kne’Urth, Skortaurian showed the Circle of Shade an entrance that only he is aware of to go from Garengrand to Aftgard, and launch a War of the Heavens
- It is unknown how long the War of the Heavens lasted, but it had rippling consequences
- One of the most trusted and honorable Immortals, Treungard was killed by Skortaurian
- However, Treungard’s son, Valingard picked up his sword and severed Skortaurian’s arm, which fell to the world
- Skortaurian’s arm was fed upon by a pack of hyenas, the strongest going on to become so drastically changed, that he became the demi god, Yeegowhen
- Bargledarwas supposedly created during the War of the Heavens, though the exact story behind his origins remains unknown because of the chaotic time during the War of the Heavens
- Also, during the War of the Heavens, the blood of the Immortal Titans fell to the world; and from that gave birth to the original giants (Hill, Fire, Frost, Stone, Cloud and Storm)
- Fire Giants: Fire Giants were the Immortals that were once the weapon makers of the gods. With no way to return to Aftgrand, the Fire Giants go deep into the mountains, to get as close to the center of the world, to forge weapons. Over time, the lack of the gods not returning to gather them, the Fire Giants grew angry and bitter.
- Frost Giants: Frost Giants were the Immortals that were the primary Warriors of the Gods. Having to get away from everyone and everything, they took to the Northlands, and like the very land they called home, they became as cold and as callous as the land.
- Hill Giants: There were Immortals that were once the gardeners of Aftgrand. Simple minded, over time, they became furious that the gods never came to collect them, and sought to destroy the very thing they were once assigned to do.
- Stone Giants: These were the Immortals who focused on stone masonry and built the beautiful buildings of Aftgrand. The Stone Giants took to making their homes in the Mountains.
- Cloud Giants: These were the Immortals who responsible for using their magic to keep the weather beautiful in Aftgrand. As the years passed they became as emotional as the weather they tried to control. They became known for the Cloud Castles as they sought to return to Aftgrand.
- Storm Giants: Storm Giants were the Immortals much like Cloud Giants, who strived to returned to the heavens. The Immortals who became Storm Giants, however, did not find the rage that the others did; instead, they sought to teach the world about the gods, that much of the world had forgotten. Remembering their place, as once being Immortals, the Storm Giants became the most powerful of all the Giants.
- Other Giants were born from the Fall of the Immortals, but they are not as widely known throughout the world
- During the War of the Heavens, Kne’Urth suffers devastating results, that destroy cities and landscape alike, reshaping the face of the world, and burying much of its history, as civilizations perish, beginning the Age of Darkness
- After the War of the Heavens, Florasena had twin daughters, Lynzee and Kariayn
- She also gave birth to Elenar, with the Immortal Hurchen.
- Sometime later, Kariayn had tried to create life, and had successfully done so, at the cost of her own celestial life
- Kariayn’s essence fell to the world and gave birth to Ellaros, an ancient Treant who has ascended into Aftgrand, thanks to Florasena
- Kariayn’s twin sister, Lynzee discovered that it had been the demon lord, Verastin who had tricked her into creating life, so that he could use her creations to make twisted versions of nature
- Lynzee hunted down Verastin and plunged her spear through him with so much force that it buried him
- According to legends, the Ancient Tree in the Jade Forest is actually the magical spear of the goddess of the hunt, Lynzee, and buried in its roots is the demon, Verastin
- Jarisfargen had slept with Brundenella, an Immortal, and gave birth Arikreel, who became the goddess of Strength
- Drakenfiel was born from Nifika and an Immortal named Sarynfar, The Star Gazer
